The CSG is pleased to announce that on December 4, 2020 it transferred ownership of the open access journal Stability: International Journal of Security and Development to The Division of Peace Studies and International Development at the University of Bradford. The CSG has managed Stability since November 2015, with CSG Executive Director Mark Sedra serving as the Editor-in-Chief for the majority of that period. We are proud of the accomplishments of the journal during our stewardship. In 2020 Stability ranked 12th of 74 in the Scopus global ranking of the top open access journals in the social sciences and 144th out of 487 in the overall category of political science and international relations.
The University of Bradford is one of the world’s leading institutions for research and teaching in international peace and development studies. It is ideally placed to lead Stability to new heights in the years ahead. Prof. Owen Greene, a renowned scholar and practitioner in the peace and security field, will assume the role of Editor-in-Chief. He will be supported by Managing Editor Dr. Fiona Macaulay, an experienced educator and researcher. CSG Director Mark Sedra will remain affiliated to Stability as a member of its editorial board.
